Pay: $22-$31.25 per hour commensurate with experience
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented administrative assistant with construction experience to perform clerical and reception duties. Prior experience in the construction industry is a big plus!
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties (on a rotating basis).
Monitor and manage multiple databases for tracking projects from the lead stage through the final invoice and any subsequent follow up on collections.
Contact suppliers for pricing and product information.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Prepare quantity take-offs by measuring properties using various methods (experience with Google Earth and BidScreenXL are a plus).
Design presentations using Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint.
Compile presentation and scopes of work into proposal.
Enter new job information in scheduling system and upload all relevant project information.
Make yard signs and notices prior to the commencement of jobs.
Respond to emails and phone calls on behalf of the Preconstruction Manager.
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task while staying on track.
Proficiency in MS Office applications Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook is a must.
Prior database management experience preferred.
