Administrative Assistant - LaSalle Network

LaSalle Network is partnering with a nationally recognized leader in higher education to find an Administrative Assistant who will provide essential support to one of the university's development departments. Located in the Chicagoland area, this esteemed institution is celebrated as one of America's premier educational organizations and consistently earns high marks in employee satisfaction.

This team is looking for a proactive, high-energy and detail-oriented individual to coordinate administrative functions, allowing the team to focus on fostering donor relations. You will be the go-to person and an integral member of the team, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the department calendar and manage travel arrangements for supervisors
• Correspond directly with donors and alumni regarding major gifts
• Track the department pipeline by monitoring gifts, entering updates and researching potential new donors
• Organize events, including creating timelines, managing vendors and developing agendas and budgets
• Assist with light budgeting, invoicing and tracking departmental financials

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
• Experience supporting a department, coordinating schedules and managing travel for multiple individuals
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• A can-do attitude and high energy!
