This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Panofsky Fellows search and recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing paperwork
- Assist in the coordination and logistics of Colloquium series, including scheduling speakers, coordinating room reservations, and managing event materials
- Provide administrative support for events such as the DOE OSELP cohort visits and SLAC SLAM/Bay Area Postdoc Research SLAM, including coordinating logistics, managing guest lists, and handling event materials
- Understand PI training requirements and be responsible for managing the PI Waiver system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide administrative support to various departments and individuals as needed
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements
- Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 1 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
