Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in New Haven, CT is currently looking for a Clinical Trials Marketing Specialist to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Clinical Trials Marketing Specialist / Pharma Industry
Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 36 months
Location: New Haven, CT

Job Description:
Participant Engagement Specialist
Works with the Sr Manager Volunteer Recruitment and Communications specialist to develop and implement initiatives to increase Pharmaceutical New Haven Clinical Research Unit visibility within the surrounding community, including but not limited to colleges, non-profit organizations, community groups, and local businesses
Assists with the development and execution of media strategies and campaigns to support clinical research study recruitment and development of the clinical trial participant database for healthy volunteers/vaccine clinical trials
Assists with content development for social media, website, and print materials in alignment with PCRU and corporate branding guidelines
Assists with creation and implementation of educational campaigns/content to engage Client public about clinical trials, promoting the advancement of clinical research
Builds relationships with community partners to support vaccine clinical trial education and recruitment
Regularly plans, coordinates, and attends community events as a representative of the Pharmaceutical New Haven Clinical Research Unit throughout the calendar year
Collects marketing and public outreach data to evaluate effectiveness and assist in development of effective communication strategies
Compiles and reports ROI and other metrics related to recruitment campaigns and deliverables
Assists with participant database development/maintenance and identification of suitable study candidates based on protocol requirements and local medical guidance
Organizes recruitment related activities pre-, per- and post study.
May perform administrative activities and act as point of contact towards clinical trial participants during database and/or study enrollment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in public health, communications, marketing, business or related fields or equivalent experience
Knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to pay attention to detail and manage multiple projects at one time
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs and time pressures
Ability to disseminate scientific information clearly and concisely
Proven communication skills to build relationships with potential clinical trial participants, community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Ability to track, analyze, and adjust campaigns and processes as necessary
Preferred experience conducting outreach, community engagement, and/or health education
Preferred experience in clinical research
Hard Skills:
1. Knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
3. Proven communication skills to build relationships with potential clinical trial participants, community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
1. Clinical research environment work experience (Preferred experience conducting outreach, community engagement, and/or health education)
2. Creating Marketing Educational materials (i.e. Canva, etc)
