Professional Administrative Assistant for Accounting Firm
Full-Time – Salary
Schedule: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Location: Islandia, NY 11749
Compensation: $60,000 – 67,000 annually

Job Summary:
As Administrative Assistant you will be the voice and face of SMG ABA, LLC. You will receive and direct calls, manage projects for executives and assist in accounting functions such as AP, AR, Billing, and Tax Returns. You will manage workflow and schedule meetings. This is an integral part of our fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow your skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Greet all staff and clients with positive professionalism.
- Work with and closely communicate with senior administrative staff.
- Act as a point of contact between clients and staff
- Manage and update workflow systems.
- Maintain and update contact lists.
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
- Scan and maintain data management.
- Assist with accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Effectively manage communications, calls, emails, meetings
- Provide courteous support to clients/visitors/staff.
- Manage office supplies by taking inventory, placing orders, and researching cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
- Process tax returns
- Participate in SMG ABA recruiting, team-building, and other firm events.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- 2 years of Administrative Assistant, accounting experience, AP, AR, Tax, Bookkeeping, Billing,
- Associate degree or higher is preferred, High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Good general computer skills are required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to multi-task.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Pay Range:USD $60,000.00 - USD $67,000.00 /Yr.
