Spring Creek is looking for a part-time (3 days a week) Activities Assistant that will work closely with our many residents and patients providing daily activities and enrichment. If you want to make a difference in the lives of other, than Spring Creek is where you should be!

We provide specialized care services for patients requiring extended medical care and rehabilitation. Those with catastrophic or acute illnesses and injuries can work towards recovery. We also offer both short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, along with a full respiratory unit that provides ventilator care and all respiratory needs.
*Interested individuals must have a valid driver’s license, willing to work some afternoons/evenings, and weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Job duties include but not limited to:
Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.
· Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
· Assist in the moving/arranging of equipment/supplies to assure that activity areas are ready for scheduled activity functions.
· Follow the care plan in providing daily activities for the resident.
· Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties, etc.
· Oversee residents engaged in scheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents by applying experience in activities and knowledge of diagnoses and conditions of residents.
· Develop and maintain a good working rapport with other departments within the facility to assure that daily activities can be performed without interruption.
· Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary.
· Make routine visits to residents and perform assistance with crafts, projects, etc., as necessary.
· Assist in-room residents by visiting with them, writing letters, running errands, making appointments, etc., as necessary.
