If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a significant role in our financial operations, ensuring our accounts receivable operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your primary duties will include:
1. Managing and overseeing all accounts receivable functions, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
2. Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
3. Researching and resolving account discrepancies by communicating with customers.
4. Maintaining accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions, including detailed ledgers.
5. Collaborating with the sales team to manage credit applications and assess creditworthiness.
6. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable.
7. Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems to optimize accounts receivable functions.
8. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
9. Collaborating with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position will possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in accounts receivable, A/R, ERP systems, and general ledger operations.
3. Strong knowledge of financial processes, procedures, and controls.
4. Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
5. Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
9. Experience with financial reporting and preparation of financials.
10. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
