ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• Our client in the hospitality sector is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their hotel's team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for daily deposits, posting transactions, creating journal entries, and collaborating with different departments to ensure overall success of the hotel.
• The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, communicate professionally and the capacity to adapt to changing priorities. All experience levels with accounting are encouraged to apply!

OVERVIEW OF THE AR CLERK ROLE:

• The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be the inter-departmental liaison for outstanding tasks and postings
• Daily deposits in accordance with the company's accounting policies.
• Completing rebills and creating journal entries in different charts of accounts.
• Posting transactions in the POS system for the hotel and country club.
• Assist in preparing reports and statements for the accountant, who you will work very closely with.
• The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist with other duties as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR AR CLERK ROLE:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and coding.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and the third-party vendors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in hotels/hospitality/FOH a big plus!
