GSA National has an exciting opportunity to join us as an Accounting Specialist A/P. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of assigned GSA clients by completing analysis and invoices for these clients. The Accounting Specialist is also responsible for completing bank reconciliations and monthly QuickBooks reports for all GSA clients.

What You'll Do:- Process and pay vendor bills.
- Prepares general journal entries.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to complete corresponding reconciliations.
- Works to complete the month and year end General Ledger close procedures in a timely manner.
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Assists with the fulfillment of internal and client audit requests.
- Assists with the preparation and maintenance of internal control matrices and flow charts.
- Assists with the organization of the permanent files and other financial information physically in the file cabinets and electronically on the shared drives.

- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
- Minimum of 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Must work well under pressure as part of a fast-paced team, with demonstrated ability to multitask, organize and prioritize consistently and appropriately.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; proven ability to research, follow up and resolve complex issues or problems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential compensation and financial information in accordance with the GSA Privacy Disclosure Guide.
