Accounts Payable Specialist - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Our recruiting firm is partnering with an established and growing commercial construction company in Delray Beach, FL, to find them an AP Specialist for their team.

This position is temp to hire as it is a new role for the company, but it is a role that will be kept on permanently.

The ideal salary range is between $25-$29 per hour depending on experience. There are also opportunities available to work overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Set up invoices for payment and process payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Process invoices for jobs using AIA standards
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files and handle vendor correspondence

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience is required
• Construction experience is required (Commercial experience highly preferred)
• ERP experience
• 100% onsite in Delray Beach
