Accounts Payable Specialist - Robert Half

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Bellevue, Washington, United States. This role involves handling various accounting functions, primarily focusing on accounts payable within the industry. The job requires a high level of organization, accuracy, and proficiency in various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: - Accurately process a high volume of customer credit applications. - Maintain precise records of customer credit. - Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary action when needed. - Regularly monitor incoming emails and postal mail for invoice receipts. - Handle monthly payment requests and execute check runs as per schedule. - Manage intercompany reimbursements and utility invoice entries. - Oversee the coding of purchase orders and follow up as necessary. - Ensure strong written and verbal communication with vendors. - Use accounting software systems like ADP - Financial Services, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions. - Perform regular audits and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes. Requirements - Proficiency in Account Coding - Experience with Accounting Software Systems - Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services - Proficiency in using Concur software - Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning - Ability to handle Accounting Functions - Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) - Knowledge of Accrual Accounting - Experience in Auditing - Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
