Accounts Payable Associate

Salary Rate: $23.50/hr

Start Date: January 20, 2025

Work Schedule: 8:30am–5:00pm

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Download AP invoices from general AP email and save in share drive.
  
• Code & input vendor invoices into AP system.
  
• Act as point of contact for the A/P function.
  
• Maintains contact with vendors to ensure timely payment and dispute resolution.
  
• Ensures A/P processing is within the required guidelines.
  
• Responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of the system and billing processes.
  
• Maintains AP log for issues and follow up with buyers for issue resolution
  
• Analyzes vendor requirements and makes recommendations consistent with company policy and goals.
  
• Reconcile vendor statement & investigate disputes.
  
• Maintains filing of entered and issue invoices in shared drive.
  
• Assist with payment back up for payment accuracy
  
• Assist with month end closing and audits
  
• Prepare and publish the assigned AP report timely
  

 

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
  
• 1 year experience preferred.
  
• Strong 10 key a must.
  
• Proficient in EXCEL & Word.
  
• Detailed oriented with good follow up.
  
• SAP experience preferred.
