Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organization that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Accountant. This organization is looking for someone professional who can work in a team just as effectively as they can work independently. 2 – 4 years of experience is a big plus but would be open to a sharp recent graduate with an accounting/account payables internship.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr – $27/hr

The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors. Applicants for the Accounts Payable Accountant role must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Our client is looking for candidates with previous experience with full-cycle accounts payable and general accounting.

Responsibilities Of The Accounts Payable Accountant
- Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices.
- Working knowledge of purchase orders.
- Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with independent work.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus.
- High-volume Accounts Payable experience or equivalent knowledge.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred and equivalent experience.
