Our client is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support accounting needs during a period of rapid growth. This person will be responsible for owning key accounting activities and processes across the business and will play an integral and visible role in keeping the business on track. - Salary range between $110K - $130K depending on experience
Whatyou'lldo:
- Prepare and analyze quarterly internal consolidated and consolidating financial statements including Work in Process (WIP) Schedules
- Manage month-end closing schedule and oversee preparation of all account reconciliations, preparation and review of journal entries in the GL
- Drive month-end close schedule by overseeing and at times preparing journal entries in the GL and owning particular tasks in that process, while preparing and reviewing robust documentation and reconciliations
- Prepare variance analyses for specific accounts to assist the FP&A and leadership teams in identifying key insights in regular monthly financial
- Lead various accounting transaction cycles, while focusing on improving the established processes through efficient process design and
- Assist with annual external audits by preparing schedules, documenting, and explaining procedures and providing requested information as
- Collaborate and partner with teams across the company to ensure the accuracy of financial
- Drive ongoing process improvements and efficiency gains for areas of
- Lead or assist on ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g. tax compliance, system implementations).
What you bring:
- 6+ years of construction (cost to cost) accounting experience, with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Solid communication skills and ability to manage a team of 6 senior and staff accountants
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or CPA highly preferred
- Advanced Excel capabilities/knowledge.
- Strong understanding of US
