Accounting Specialist - Top Stack

Seeking an Accounting Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in general ledger, month-end close, expense report processing, and AP/AR for a medium-sized transportation company, offering the opportunity for ownership and potential merit increases in a flexible work environment.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPANY  HIGHLIGHTS:

• Manage general ledger (GL) activities and month-end close processes.
• Utilize Excel for data manipulation, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to allocate medical insurance information to the appropriate GL accounts.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including processing internal AP invoices and freight bill invoices.
• As a medium-sized organization with about 75 employees, it offers a more personalized work environment and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting (open to recent graduates with relevant experience).
• Proficiency in general ledger (GL) and month-end close processes.
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to use pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for data manipulation.
