We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Accounting Specialist for our Medical Industry client. This role is essential in providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
1. Managing and executing the entire accounts payable and receivable processes.
2. Processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
3. Performing the day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
4. Preparing and sending out bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
5. Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are properly accounted for and correctly posted.
6. Performing vendor management tasks, including negotiating contracts and handling any related inquiries or issues.
7. Conducting complex data analyses in Excel and other financial systems.
8. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
9. Managing collections, ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customers’ payments.
10. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounting Specialist role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Medical industry.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
4. Experience with invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, data entry, vendor management, reconciliation, reporting, and collections.
5. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.
10. A commitment to continuous professional development.
