Title: Accounting Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: La Grange, IL

Compensation: $25-$27/hr depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconcile AP/AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger, ensuring alignment with financial records.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Record payments, monitor aging reports, and follow up on overdue accounts.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' of experience working in Accounts Payable and Receivables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
