Job Summary
- Manage and enforce a project delivery methodology that improves organization, communication, and the quality of accounting-related strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, consultants, and accounting teams to ensure task completion and effective communication.
- Handle unique and complex accounting tasks outside the scope of routine duties, including identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.
- Achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Provide steady leadership during uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead cross-functional meetings, foster teamwork, and drive issue escalation and resolution.
- Track task completion for projects, controls, and IT tickets.
- Manage all aspects of projects from requirements gathering to implementation.
- Address escalated issues related to cost, staffing, scope, and schedule, seeking management support as needed.
- Proactively set and manage expectations for project delivery and requirements, ensuring consistent outcomes.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to lead integrated teams across internal and external organizations.
- Skilled in leveraging team strengths for successful project outcomes.
