Key Responsibilities The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive management and guidance to Fixed Asset and Real Estate Tax accounting teams
• Overseeing critical accounting processes, including:
  • Monthly workpaper preparation
  • Reconciliations and journal entries
  • SOX compliance management
  • Internal and external audit coordination
  • Month-end close procedures
• Ensuring accurate reconciliation of fixed asset and real estate tax subledgers with the general ledger
• Reviewing and approving journal entries and monthly workpapers
• Facilitating cross-departmental communication to optimize accounting processes
• Coordinating with tax, treasury departments, and municipalities for property-related audits
• Managing interactions with internal and external auditors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with specific expertise in fixed assets
• At least 2 years of leadership experience, including staff supervision and performance management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency with accounting software, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP
