Job Details
Position Requirements
BA/BS required; Accounting or Finance degree
CPA required
3 - 5 years’ experience in corporate and/or real estate private equity, real estate development, hospitality industry or related roles
Partnership tax filing and 1031 exchange experience is a plus
Public Accounting experience is a plus
Detail oriented, analytical, strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage people and time efficiently
Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
Experience with property management software (MEWS or KOA), QuickBooks Online, Expensify, Rippling or Bill.com is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and independent worker
Position Responsibilities
Manage financials for RV parks, multi-family properties and other entities (book keeping), being responsible for all aspects of accounting.
Manage all tax/compliance matters, which include filing monthly/quarterly sales and transient tax, 1099s, personal property tax and income tax. Manage audits when required.
Review and reconcile property financials for RV parks and multi-family properties, and prepare internal financial statements.
Manage cash disbursement process, including expense reimbursement, after reviewing supporting documents.
Support property managers to maintain accurate/timely accounting reports
Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, including cash, loan, fixed assets, distributions and capital balances
Support executives/managers through financial analysis, cashflow management, budgeting, investor relation, investors K-1s, and any other ad-hoc analysis/projects as assigned.
Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, including cash, loan, fixed assets and capital balances
Other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to communicate with a variety of personality types (ownership, management, contractors, and vendors).
