Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with expertise in Microsoft Business Center Enterprise Resource Planning (ErP) software. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of accounting, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Human Resources, while also maintaining safety records in compliance with industry standards. Construction accounting experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
Microsoft Business Center ErP Expertise:
Utilize Microsoft Business Center ErP software for efficient management of financial processes.
Customize and optimize the software to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of the software.
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:
Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Human Resources:
Oversee human resources functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Safety Records Maintenance:
Maintain accurate safety records in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Collaborate with safety officers and project managers to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least [insert number] years in a managerial or supervisory position.
