We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who thrives in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, reviewing and analyzing financial reports, and offering recommendations based on detailed financial analysis and projections. With a focus on team management, financial reporting, and cash management, the Accounting Manager will play a critical role in our company's financial operations and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
3. Monitor and analyze accounting data, produce financial reports, or statements, and establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
4. Coordinate and complete annual audits, provide recommendations for improving procedures, and initiate corrective actions.
5. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
6. Develop and implement financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll.
8. Play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis processes.
9. Collaborate with executive leadership to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
4. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
5. Experience in managing others in accounting
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
10. Strong understanding of business principles and practices; Superior attention to detail; Organizational and planning skills.
