What you will be doing:
The Accounting Manager will oversee company's day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What your primary responsibilities will be:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cashflow statements, ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Conduct variance analysis and performance evaluations to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and procedures to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the finance function.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Bilingual in English/Mandarin required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work related machinery
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
