Mattson Resources has an amazing full-time/on-site opportunity for an Accounting Clerk (with AR concentration) for our client located in Buena Park, CA (near the 5 freeway / Beach Blvd.).

The ideal candidate would be responsible to pulling out and understanding financial/accounting data, contacting internal/external contact with phone/email to solve issues, entering data to accounting software/Great Plains, updating accounting setting with GP, and summarize/update Excel.

 

• 
  Related to AR function to GP: post applying Cash receipt from customers to our invoice, inform Cash receipt to internal contact as necessary, process ACH/Credit Card payment,
  

 

• 
  Related to AR function using Excel, Documents, Word, Internet. etc: Managing Customers’ account credit such as receiving Credit application, Credit reference, DNB reports, Resale Permit for sales tax exemption, managing Credit Limit, Account set up for a new customer with GP and maintain existing customers. Manage Credit-Hold work, Host Credit Limit meeting internally. Send Statements to customers.

  Related to AR closing process: Manage AR accounts and closing, sending reports to internal contacts.
  

 

• 
  Take on ad-hoc work such as Audit’s request, J-Sox, customized reports and Excel works.
  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  1-2+ years of accounting experience preferred
  
• 
  Experienced with Excel, willingness to learn new software (Great Plains).
  
• 
  Quick-learner and self-starter, ability to prioritize and multitask
  
• 
  Strong organizational skills. Deadline and detail-oriented
  
• 
  Comfortable with daily interactions with internal and outside contacts
  

 

 

SALARY: $48K - $55K DOE
