Vaco Phoenix is in search of a meticulous and well-organized Accounting Assistant to work out of Scottsdale in a hybrid basis. The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting various accounting tasks and ensuring the precision of financial records. This presents an outstanding opportunity for individuals aiming to gain valuable experience in the accounting field.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in reconciling balance sheets to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and input journal entries into the accounting system.
- Manage invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Conduct credit analysis and contribute to collections efforts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain precise and current financial records.
- Assist in audits and other financial projects.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in working with numerical data.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
- Capability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: Up to 32 hours per week
