Accounting Associate - The Cary Company

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our accounting team in Addison, IL. **This is an on-site role reporting to our Addison, IL facility.**

Compensation Range: $43,500-$55,000 Annually Incentives & Benefits
(Compensation varies based on experience and education)

Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Management: Monitor customer accounts daily and promptly address past-due balances.
• Payments & Collections: Process payments, follow up on outstanding invoices, and encourage on-time settlements.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve billing inquiries, working closely with customers and internal teams.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with various tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in additional duties as assigned by Accounting Managers, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing department.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Background in accounting and collections a plus.
• Professionalism & Communication: Ability to maintain a courteous, professional tone in calls and emails, even when handling sensitive inquiries.
• Multitasking & Organization: Proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong follow-up skills, accuracy, and excellent time management.
• Positive Mindset: A strong work ethic, “can-do” attitude, and pride in delivering high-quality results.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of analyzing challenges to find effective solutions.
