Accounting Analyst V Consultant
Our client, a leading tech company known for its rapid growth and innovation in the infrastructure and data center sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join their team. This role will focus on managing the accounting for several data center construction projects, overseeing month-end close processes, and driving process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams while contributing to the scalability and success of the organization. The position is located in Austin, Texas, and requires collaboration with teams in various locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting for multiple data center construction projects, ensuring accurate month-end close and SOX controls.
- Oversee balance sheet accounts and corresponding sub-ledgers for varying levels of complexity.
- Collaborate with infrastructure business partners to understand objectives, develop processes, and provide accounting guidance.
- Identify process gaps and independently develop and implement solutions.
- Provide support for finance management and cross-functional teams on financial analysis, technical analysis, and special projects.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in financial statement auditing, financial accounting, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and collaborating with business partners to drive change.
- Proven ability to optimize or redesign existing processes to meet evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fixed assets and construction accounting.
- Big 4 audit experience and CPA preferred.
Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $50 - $52 per hour.
