MUST:
Experienced Accountant Project Accountant
5+years of experience
Must have experience preparing financials
Must have experience recording journal entries
Must have high attention to detail
Must work well independently
Holding a current CPA is highly preferred
Background in commercial real estate accounting is highly preferred
Bachelor's Degree
DUTIES:
Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Prepare monthly/yearly closings
Oversee accounting projects
