What you will do:
- Assist in maintaining financial records. Prepare and post journal entries to record and/or correct transactions.
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledgers for subsidiary companies.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual close of the financial books and records. Adhere to closing schedules and participate in its development.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure proper recording of cash, receivables, payables, current costs, revenues, financial commitments, accruals and obligations. Reconciles monthly bank statements.
- Assist in preparation of operating budget and five-year plan. Monitor performance against budget on a regular basis and communicates status to appropriate personnel and makes recommendations as necessary.
What you will have:
- Ability to skillfully analyze data to help influence effective decision making
- BA/BS degree required
- 2-4 years of related experience or new graduate with internship experience and initiative to learn.
- SAP experience preferred
