Position Overview:
Accountant candidate must be familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures within GAAP standards. This position will report to Director of Financial Reporting.

Position Overview:
Accountant candidate must be familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures within GAAP standards. This position will report to Director of Financial Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document financial transactions by entering journal entries in General Ledger accounting system
- Reconcile various Bank statements against general ledger on monthly basis.
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Follow accounting controls by while recording transactions in the accounting system
- Provide feedback on business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Guide and work as a team with accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Provide assistance during audits to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Assist with Ad hoc projects as needed
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar area of specialty or an associate's degree in accounting with at least two years of experience in the field
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Experience with accounting software Workday is a plus
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
- Base Salary is $50,000
