Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The objective of the accountant is to keep the Hospital's general ledgers up to date and accurate, to prepare financial reports and analysis from the information obtained in the ledgers, and to assist the Assistant Controller of Accounting and Senior Accountants as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or in a related field in required.
Experience:
Two years of experience in accounting, financial software, and Microsoft Excel is required.
Certification/Licensure:
CPA is preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated excellence in project and task ownership.
Experience working with a team.
Superior attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
