Position: Account Manager - Utility Management
Location: Remote (State of Residence must be one of the following AL,CA,FL,GA,IL,MD,MS,NC,NJ,OH,OK,OR,PA,SC,TN,TX)
About Role: As an Account Manager, you'll play a vital role by acting as an extension of property management teams and serving as the designated utility expert and trusted advisor to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with key personnel on assigned client accounts.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via email or telephone within 24 business hours.
- Manage monthly resident billing, ensuring accuracy and meeting KPI standards.
- Conduct Client Portal Training for on-site team members, both new and ongoing.
- Assist in the setup and training of new clients added to your portfolio.
- Collaborate with property managers to achieve mutually beneficial billing solutions.
- Monitor meter health, ensuring proper functionality, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Conduct quarterly intentional calls with each property manager to enhance service quality.
- Resolve concerns and improve processes through effective problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the Client Success Team to provide an exceptional client/resident experience.
- Support Customer Service escalations within specific SLAs.
- Maintain accurate records and updates within our CRM platform.
- Adapt to consistent change and contribute to continual process improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Solid work ethic and high level of professional integrity.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure, both individually and in a team setting.
Work Environment: This role operates in a professional remote office environment
Physical Demands: The position involves long periods of sitting, working indoors on a computer for the entire shift.
Expected Hours of Work: Generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional days and hours may be required to meet the demands of the role.
Education and Experience:
- B.S. degree a plus.
- 2+ years of account management or similar work-related experience preferred.
