Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Account Management, the Account Manager (AM) plays a key role in increasing revenue by ensuring customers are successfully set up on NursingHomes.com and ensuring they are deriving value. They are the first point of contact for our executive clients and expected to provide first-class levels of customer service, while securing customer subscriptions.
The day-to-day duties of the Account Manager are to provide new customers with a customized onboarding experience and help existing customers maximize the value they receive from NursingHomes.com by ensuring their profiles are filled with robust content, they understand performance, and they are generating reviews.

The ideal candidate is an account manager with experience selling to and expanding relationships with corporate contacts and executive teams. You are highly results oriented and dedicated to working with our customer organizations to grow their businesses. You are an excellent communicator – both verbal and written – with tremendous analytical and follow up skills. You are motivated by working within a dynamic environment and being part of a high-potential digital innovation that connects Caregivers to Nursinghomes.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with C-level, Divisional, and Regional players at existing customer organizations to increase engagement and satisfaction, maximize the number of locations subscribing to NursingHomes.com, and drive adoption of new programs
- Engage and interact with decision makers at all levels to identify new and emerging business opportunities
- Educate customers on how products or services (i.e., Reviews) can benefit them including providing a demo of the website
- Represent company at industry events and conferences, set appointments in advance to connect with existing customers and review their results/deepen relationships
- Define and own the account management cadence
- Maintain customer records in CRM
- Track, analyze, and communicate each customers' performance results on a monthly and quarterly basis to secure and maintain organization-wide subscription
- Manage the sales cycle for customers from onboarding during free trial to converting into a paying customer to renewing. Work with the General Manager of NursingHomes.com where needed to close each deal
- Partner with the Director of Business Development and Account Management and Account Managers to identify new opportunities and ensure a coordinated sales and support effort across all levels of a given organization
- Liaise with Finance to help resolve any queries raised by the customer in relation to invoices
- 3 - 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the senior care or hospital industry
- Skilled at managing and nurturing executive relationships
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, while meeting or exceeding expectations
- A personal sense of urgency and ability to overcome obstacles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to properly and accurately enter data into CRM tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to deliver results while working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with data tracking, analysis, powerpoint and CRM tools
- Strong computer skills necessary, including Microsoft and Google suites
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Compensation:
- Base Salary - $80K
- On Target Earnings: $103.5K
