Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our client's sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Account Executive will play a crucial role in penetrating assigned accounts, driving new business, renewals, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a proven track record in the SaaS industry to contribute to the growth and success of an expanding technology company.
Responsibilities:
- Target and develop assigned accounts, including new business development, renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities, to build and close a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Success, Partner Sales, and Solutions Consulting, to ensure successful sales outcomes leading to client satisfaction.
- Develop long-term strategic plans in collaboration with internal business partners to maximize clients' success with our client's platform while maximizing revenue.
- Understand C-level initiatives and align our client's solutions with those objectives.
- Forecast pipeline accurately, including expected close date, projected deal size, and probability of closing.
- Drive value through meetings and quarterly business reviews, with approximately 15-25% travel within the Northeast region and related industry trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related SaaS industry sales experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles and experience in consultative selling.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and build strong relationships with clients.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing sales pipelines and tracking customer interactions.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $100,000 per year.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000 per year.
- Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility for remote work and in-office collaboration.
