The ADO System Administrator will also have strong background in establishing best practices, researching new enhancements, leading ADO community of practices, documenting procedures, and training users.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an Azure DevOps (ADO) System Administrator for care and feeding of Workflow and Test Management modules. The ADO System Administrator will also have strong background in establishing best practices, researching new enhancements, leading ADO community of practices, documenting procedures, and training users.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess existing VMO standards, policies, and processes to recommend improvements, identify gaps, meet regulatory requirements, and mitigate risk.
- Lead collaborative initiatives between team members and partners to define, review, maintain, and communicate VMO standards, policies, and processes.
- Drive monitoring and analysis of existing VMO processes to identify technical or procedural improvements and implement changes.
- Lead efforts to define requirements for reporting related to VMO standards, policies, and processes.
- Monitor and report on compliance with existing VMO standards, policies, and processes.
- Develop and maintain backlog to ensure VMO continuous improvement initiatives, ongoing work, and new efforts are prioritized and delivered.
- Plan, facilitate, and lead VMO meetings.
- Drive creation and delivery of training related to VMO standards, policies, and processes as needed.
- Drive collaboration with VMO team members to develop communications, documentation, training, and job aids supporting VMO messaging, new and modified governance, standards, and processes.
- Lead and conduct research and analysis efforts supporting VMO initiatives.
- Collaborate within the VMO to respond to and answer questions generated by VMO partners and colleagues.
- Lead the delivery of VMO training related to Value Delivery and VMO tools.
Must Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced expertise defining and documenting standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines related Agile/Waterfall delivery and VMO tools.
- Advanced expertise using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Advanced expertise using O365, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers and junior team members.
- Proven leadership skills, experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to professionally challenge and influence the opinion of others in relation to VMO standards, processes, and procedures.
- Advanced expertise using ServiceNow PPM, and/or Planview AgilePlace/Tasktop Hub.
- Excellent ability in building credibility and strong partnerships while working collaboratively within the team and across the organization.
- Excellent ability in negotiating and resolving conflicts creating positive outcomes.
- Highly motivated with excellent organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
