AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator, SeniorKey Role: Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution.

Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in IT systems administration, including with both Microsoft and Linux platforms2+ years of experience in containerized platformsExperience with system administration support and management for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)Experience supporting development and test teams in AWS environments, including Kubernetes and traditional RHEL serversKnowledge of maintenance, including patching, STIG, and upgrade processes, on AWS cloud infrastructureAbility to manage and operate workloads on AWS systemsTS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degreeIAT Level II and Kubernetes CKA CertificationsAWS Certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, Production Kubernetes Cluster Operations, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or RH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible CertificationAdditional Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with container orchestration or application deploymentExperience implementing security controls and compliance measures in AWS environmentsExperience deploying, managing, and operating workloads using the AWS Management Console and CLIExperience with AWS tools such as Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, and LambdaKnowledge of container orchestration tools and deployment automation techniquesPossession of strong mentorship skills, to guide junior staff and foster team developmentMaster’s degreeSecurity+ and AWS SysOps Administration Associate CertificationsClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD).
