Job Description Summary
The AVP, Finance at Wintrust Life Finance will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights to drive the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This individual will work closely with senior management to support decision-making processes, ensure financial goals are met, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Establish best practices in compiling WLF volume and financial forecasts
- Prepare monthly, weekly, daily, and ad hoc analysis to help evaluate the business and inform management
- Develop financial reporting including board and management presentations
- Participate in strategic planning discussions
- Supervise and coordinate completion of annual budget for WLF division
Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience
- 5-7 years- banking industry preferred
- Bachelor degree in finance or accounting or equivalent
- Experience in forecasting, and financial reporting to enable the candidate to help inform strategic decision making
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
