Upcoming Increase: 2.5% effective first pay period following January 1, 2025

THE POSITION
As an Associate Engineer, you will perform a variety of Civil Engineering field and office work that includes planning and design of public works and capital movement projects, regulatory oversight and private development review.Training and Experience
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the qualifying knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain these qualifications would be:
- Possession of a valid Class C California driver's license; and
- Equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in civil engineering or a related engineering field and;
- Possession of Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification recognized by the State of California; AND
- One year of experience performing civil engineering work.
Environmental and Physical Demands
Work is typically in an office environment with travel to off-site locations for inspections and other duties as needed.
