Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Doctor of Nursing Practice
Location: Marshalltown, IA
Schedule: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week), with 1-2 work-from-home days
Relocation: $3,500 relocation assistance
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable (ARNP) or (DNP) to join our diverse team in providing comprehensive mental health and general health care services to both adult and pediatric populations. A successful candidate will have experience in a prescriber role.
Responsibilities:
- Mental Health Care:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and referral for additional mental health services when necessary.
- General Healthcare Services:
- Perform routine physical exams, general wellness checks, and health assessments for both adults and children.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate and monitor patient response to treatment.
- Patient Education & Advocacy:
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, health promotion, and self-management techniques.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary care planning sessions.
- Telehealth Work:
- Utilize telemedicine platforms for remote consultations with patients, ensuring high-quality care delivery in a virtual environment.
- Provide appropriate assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care via telehealth.
Qualifications:
- Education and Licensure:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (ARNP) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Board certification in Family Practice, Psychiatric Mental Health, or another applicable specialty.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an ARNP or DNP in a clinical setting, with experience in mental health and general healthcare preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year prescriber experience is strongly recommended
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Proficiency in time management, documentation, and patient follow-up.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary:
- Competitive starting salary of $110,000 per year, with a guaranteed raise to $130,000 after the first year of employment.
- Relocation Assistance:
- $3,500 relocation assistance for in-state candidates (if applicable).
