ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This Property Management client is located in Waterbury. They are a reputable and successful real estate investment and property management firm based in Waterbury. This is a client we have a very long, solid relationship with, and we are working on this position exclusively. This team works an 8-5PM schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform full cycle A/P for all expenses including invoice retrieval and provide exemplary client service.
• Monitor and enforce controls in the invoice process, ensuring that proper approvals have bee received and all required paperwork is documented and filed promptly and accurately.
• Continuously improve payment process updates to increase efficiency and timeliness of payments.
• Ensure A/P takes advantage of all purchase discounts, if available, and makes payments in accordance with vendor terms.
• Collect and store W-9 for non-industrial vendors and complete 1099 tax filings.
• Manage company receivables, including preparation, processing, and filing of invoices and payments received.
• Perform General Ledger journal entries and reconciliations as assigned by the Senior Accountant.
• Create, update, and maintain desk procedures for each key area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Ability to commit to 20 hours per week
• BS Degree (or in process)
