A reputable behavioral health system in Langhorne, PA is looking for a ACT Team Lead.
Position Type: HC-Full-Time/ Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible based off of clients needs
Location: Langhorne, PA
Duties/Responsibilities:
• The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Leader is the full-time team leader/supervisor who is the clinical and administrative supervisor of the team and who also functions as a practicing clinician on the ACT team.
• The team leader shall have a minimum of two years of administrative/supervisory experience and must be a licensed LPC, LCSW or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a certified peer specialist supervisor.
• Individuals who are not certified peer specialist supervisors at the time of hire shall obtain the certification within six months of hire (certification will be paid and scheduled for the team leader by the agency).
• ACT experience is preferred but not required.
In addition to Providing Administrative oversight to the team, the team leader will also serve the following Functions:
• Provide direct services at least 10 hours weekly to clients (this can include shadowing other staff to assess their clinical skills as well as involvement in treatment team meetings with inpatient hospitals.
• Provide formal group supervision at least once every two weeks and provide formal individual supervision at least once every two weeks to each team member who provides direct services to consumers (other than the psychiatrist).
• Conduct insurance authorizations with our contracted Managed Care Organization
• With the assistance of the ACT Program Administrator, will be responsible for ensuring the staff/client daily schedule.
• Facilitate daily organizational morning meeting (Morning Grand Rounds)
• Facilitate weekly internal treatment team (treatment planning) meetings.
• Responsible for facilitating the admission and discharge of ACT clients on the team.
Experience:
• Must have professional license (LPC/LSW/LCSW/LMFT) and valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles (including mini vans) to safely transport clients
