About the Job
Our federal government solutions client is hiring an on-site Marine Engineer at $95k/year (W2) to support their office in Alameda, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop marine vessel instructions, AutoCAD drawings, and technical specifications for repair, modification, maintenance, and testing of existing and new systems with many component pieces of equipment on vessels.
- Complete a detailed analysis of all fluid systems aboard the cutters including validating performance based on actual calculations and a review of the system requirements based on those calculations.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience of fluid systems safety practices and cleanliness procedures for equipment operating up to 5,000 psig.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in mechanical engineering from an educational institution’s mechanical engineering program with accreditation.
