Program Delivery Lead
Location:
- Charlotte, NC (CLT), Jersey City, NJ (JC), Atlanta, GA (ATL)
- Onsite presence required 3 days a week.
Contract Type:
- Contract to Hire (6-12 months with potential for permanent hire).
- This resource will be hired as a W2 employee
Top Required Skills:
- Program Delivery Expertise: Proven experience in driving the delivery of large migration projects, particularly those involving multiple applications and extensive datasets.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills for efficient and effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate and resolve logistic and technical challenges, especially when dealing with legacy systems lacking comprehensive existing information.
- Deadline Management: Ensuring development teams adhere to deadlines and deliver results to stakeholders without escalating issues prematurely.
- Legacy System Experience: Understanding of legacy system complexities and experience in reverse engineering and modernizing them.
- AWS Services: Experience with AWS services, as the migration will involve moving legacy systems to AWS.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies and PMP are highly desirable, though not mandatory.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Rally Management: Utilize Rally to monitor and assess ongoing work.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders on the effectiveness of development and design plans for migration.
- Team Coordination: Keep development teams on track, particularly when deadlines approach, ensuring timely resolution of any coding or design issues.
- Legacy System Handling: Work with old systems and development teams to drive reverse engineering efforts and ensure successful migration.
- AWS Migration: Facilitate and manage the migration of legacy systems to AWS, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
