American Welding and Gas (AWG), a leading provider of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL-B license to join their team in Bozeman MT.
Duties:
- Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
- Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
- Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned
Physical requirements:
- Lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling
- Driving vehicle
- Repetitive movement
- Operating motorized equipment
- Sitting; standing; walking
- Working indoors/outdoors as business needs
- Working at increased noise levels
- Safety hazards
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Able to read and write English
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment, and company-administered road test
- Ability to communicate with customers in a free work environment.
