Job Summary
PSEG is looking for an Intern for the IT Utility Applications Department.
This job involves working as a(n) Analyst for Utility Applications Program Management.
This position will be hybrid.
Job Responsibilities
Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
• Stage Gate Compliance – Assist in analysis of project data across the portfolio and follow-up with project teams on actions in regards to related data sets.
• Risk and Dependency Analysis – Assist in reviewing project schedules across the Utility applications portfolio to help teams identify risks and dependencies.
• Project Management - Support on time, on budget and on scope execution of projects
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Business Management and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028. Students graduating in May/June 2025 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2025. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.
Preferred:
• 3.0 GPA
• Experience with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, agile)
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing, transportation, and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
