Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
File Cleanup:
- Review and meticulously organize 401(k) and HSA-related files and documents.
- Ensure the absolute accuracy and completeness of records.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies, ensuring impeccable file integrity.
- Assist in processing 401(k) and HSA contributions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with finance and payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate funding.
- Meticulously reconcile funding transactions and address any discrepancies.
- Support benefits operations tasks related to health and wellness programs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate employee benefits records.
- Contribute actively to the development and implementation of cutting-edge benefits-related projects.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills while liaising with internal teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information for benefits tasks.
- Deliver exceptional support in addressing employee inquiries pertaining to 401(k) and HSA, highlighting an exemplary level of communication expertise.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing 401(k) and HSA administration.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and communicate updates to the team.
- Create written procedures in the form of documentation and/or check lists as they relate to tasks that are assigned by the department
- Perform various other tasks that are assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years 401(k)/benefits administration experience is preferred
- Proven track record in HSA funding processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent job experience in 401(k) administration or benefits operations will be considered.
- Certifications in benefits administration or 401(k) management are advantageous.
