Position Overview:

The Senior Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery across our manufacturing facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, as well as leading improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Electrical repair and installation.

·       Machinery maintenance, repair of banding machines, stretch wrappers, welders, compactors and air compressors.

·       Experience with small and large scale repairs and rebuilds on mechanical punch presses, press brakes and shears, preferred.

·       Effectively communicate with appropriate parties regarding machinery repair status.

·       HVAC service.

·       Building maintenance and repair of lighting systems, plumbing and carpentry.

·       Welding and fabrication, pipefitting, hydraulics and pneumatics.

·       Maintain all internal and external facilities and equipment for proper operation and safety.

·       Respond to requests affecting production operations.

·       Maintain and purchase adequate inventory of spare parts, materials and equipment for preventative and corrective maintenance purposes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology preferred.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of PLCs (troubleshooting and programming), VFDs, and electrical control systems.

• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.

• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Availability for occasional overtime or weekend work.
