3rd Shift Maintenance Technician - Reily Foods Company

New England Coffee is one the largest, independent family owned coffee roasters in the Boston area. We are seeking to add a Technician to our Maintentance Team at our coffee roasting plant for 3rd shift -- 11PM to 7AM

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing all equipment in the plant.

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proactively conducts predictive and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains equipment information and repair files.
• Plans and coordinates maintenance jobs and new equipment installations.
• PLC/HMI familiarity.
• Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job successfully.

• High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance technician experience, preferably working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) & Human Machine Interface (HMI).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Reliable with the ability to work on call as needed.
• Self-directed team player with ability to communicate effectively.
• Good communication skills, verbal and legible handwriting.
