Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for accurately operating fillers and completing documentation regarding all the raw ingredients in a safe, quality manner, from a recipe card to a finished product.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for food safety and quality
- Operate and maintain fillers according to OS book
- Follow startup and shutdown procedures according to the OS book and turn the procedure checklist.
- CIP of required fillers, intermediate and final cleaning.
- Perform weekly standard services of fillers.
- Perform seal evaluation according to OS book for required fillers, including pull tab.
- Keep accurate records, filler downtime logs, turn procedures, and chart recorders.
- Ensure filler is stocked with materials needed.
- Keep the filler room and fillers in clean, sanitary conditions.
- Perform safe handling of chemicals and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) used H2O2 concentration checks.
- Ensure only quality packages leave the filler room.
- Alert maintenance if equipment malfunctions and works with them to correct problems.
- Communicate production issues to Supervisors/Leads and other operators.
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation.

- Ability to Safely operate material handling equipment, i.e., Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc., a plus
- Must be able to lift to +50 pounds
Education, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Package integrity/teardowns
- Previous machine operation experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
