About the Job
- AWS Deployment/Support Engineer will deploy, manage, and maintain AWS infrastructure for video operations
- BAU support for multiple IP Video Environments
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible
- Manage and troubleshoot DVR systems
- Monitor and optimize network performance
- Administer and optimize MongoDB databases
- As an AWS Deployment/Support Engineer, you will implement and manage monitoring solutions using DataDog and Splunk
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Manage and optimize Kafka messaging systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of video services
- Provide overnight support and troubleshooting for critical issues including outage support
Requirements:
- 4+ years of advanced Linux experience
- Proven experience as an AWS Deployment Engineer handling complex deployments
- BAU support experience for IP video environments
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, Ansible, DVR systems, networking, DataDog or Splunk, Kubernetes, and Kafka
- Knowledge of DVR systems and video operations
- Familiarity with DataDog or Splunk for monitoring and performance optimization
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and data streaming
- Tier 3 & 4 escalations for incidents pertaining to the video environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overnight shifts
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Experience in telecommunications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
